5 months agoDrinks were all really weirdly bad and it’s $3 more for ginger beer instead of ginger ale but they don’t tell you that when you order so ur drink will be $13! Five stars nonetheless

9 months agoParadise is one of those Madison institutions that I feel has aged well and is still going strong. Great food, good atmosphere, hard working staff.

a year agoThe best bar in town, hands down! Come as you are. Pool, electronic darts, juke, and great food prepared right in front of you. I love it! The rest are just fake hipster BS!

a year agoSuper fun divey bar on the best row of bars downtown. Free pool (some nights) 6$ pitchers of High Life and PBR. Very chill bartenders and a DL vibe to the place. It's kind of dimly lit ,which can be fun. The food is really good ( try the broccoli cheddar bites, IMO) and made to order pretty quickly. This is my go-to downtown bar because it's unpretentious and chill.

2 years agoI just came to say this place served me the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. The bartenders were pretty awesome too.

3 years agoI’m not going to tell the locals anything that they don’t already know, but this place is AWESOME. I’m from the Midwest and I immediately felt welcomed and at home here. Beer was cold and cheap, service was fast and friendly and the food was outstanding.

4 years agoThe building is a lot smaller than you'd think it should be for the number of people there. The walkway between the booths and bar is so narrow you almost have to touch people as you walk by. There's a single pool table but I would guess it's really hard to play on it because it's so cramped. The bathroom definitely just smelled like straight urine. And I'm pretty sure I saw the guy making my food rub his nose while he was cooking. 10/10. Place is incredible. Best hole-in-the-wall I've ever been to. Atmosphere is a time machine. The vibes are immaculate. The bar staff was amazing. I paid just over $20 for a burger, basket of fries, and 2 Spotted Cows on draft right off the Capitol block. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
